Can anyone with a HTC Desire come and talk to me about memory space?

One of the attractions of the Desire was the fact that I can put a memory card in. I've got a 32gb memory car in mine.

I've put all the apps that can be moved onto the memory card on it. There are some apps that can't be put on the memory card. The Dolphine bowser for instance which is quite a big one - 26mb.

But I've run out of memory space on the actual phone even though there is space on the sd card. There isn't anything else I can move to the SD card and I've deleted as many apps as I can that are on the phone.

I now don't have enough memory to download the latest update. Is there anything I can do?

Cant think of any other options really other than to delete some apps you don't use too much. I had a similar problem.

I have heard there is something you can do to android phones called Rooting, which improves the memory capacity. I haven't done it and don't really know much about it, but there are lots of places you can read about it.
If you google HTC desire rooting you will come up with loads of links.

Froyo introduced the ability for app developers to allow their apps to be installed the the SD card. Without rooting, etc. that's the only way to do it. Any apps that you have already installed may support this so give it a shot. Have a look here for more info.
