Can I clean a crusty bit off the screen of an LCD TV with a baby wipe/damp cloth ...

I haven't got any screen wipes and the spot is bugging the hell out of me!

Damp cloth will be fine. Might get a bit of smearing but if its good enough for a babies arse, it'll be fine for a bit of plastic.

I use glass cleaner on mine which is supposedly not the done thing but not seen any adverse affects. I'd not do it on my camera lenses though.
