iTunes problem - heeeeeelp!

I am having real problems getting some music loaded onto DS1's new iPod (and co-incidentally some problems with my iPhone that might be related). Every time I try to sync both devices it tells me to install an updated version of iTunes, but when I do so it claims the software has an invalid signature and the process won't complete. This means: 1. I can't get any music on the iPod, and 2. I can't sync my iPhone at all (and it has stopped syncing via Outlook pull/push as well, so I am running two diaries and so on, which is less than ldeal).

Heeeeeeeeelp!

I have tried Dell and Acer laptops running Windows XP professional and Firefox.

Try this:

Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs

Click on Apple Software Update then click on Change. When prompted, choose Repair.

Once that's complete, try to update iTunes again.

That did not work. It keeps saying an older version of iTunes can't be removed. So I uninstalled everything that was iTunes-related and now it is telling me there is something on the work server that I am not connected to and which is unlikely to be there, and that this is the old version that can't be removed. No more iTunes programs appear in the program list. What now?

OK, now uninstalled Quick Time as well and it now works! yay!
