Which phone to get for Geocaching

Im due a new phone, but I'd like to get one that enables me to get a GPS signal so I can go Geocaching. DH has a Blackberry and its great for Geocaching, but I don't like it as a phone.

I will probably go with what is the cheapest at the time, but I wondered what advice people had.

i can only say what we use.....iphone!

i have the apps on it.....all the info is there. and its fairly accurate too

only prob i've had,is cloud cover.

am considering a garmin handheld. (not a phone)

DH is trying to talk me out of a Garmin handheld, although I would love an Oregon. Which one are you considering? Once you add maps it gets quite expensive and a phone may be cheaper.

have not even looked into it closely yet. met another geocacher with an oregan a few weeks ago. he was very pleased with it too!

I had an Etrex which was fab, but I've just upgraded to a Dakota 20 which is brilliant, I love it!

Ohh...will check the Dakota out. Why is it so brilliant? I have more questions on this thread
