The MacBook should, in one way or another, be able to connect straight to the TV and use it as a big monitor.

How you do that depends on exactly which MacBook you have (and therefore which outputs it has) and what TV do have (and therefore which inputs it has).

If you provide a bit more information on both then someone will know which cable you'll be after to help you out.

As a quick aside I'll also say that I hope that you're not illegally downloading these films from some site on the internet...
