I am trying to write a report in Word 10 and want to have paragraphs numbered.
If i click on numbers i can get it to start numbering, but when i hit return (and want the next paragraph numbered in sequence) it goes back to normal font and i have to click on the 'number' button again.
Is there any way i can get it to automatically carry on numbering when i hit return, and then use the 'indent' button to move it to a lower list level?
I'm sure this used to happen in previous versions of word
