"have you got mobileme? or is poss to synchronize everything with my mac without paying for mobileme?"

I presume that the iPad works in the same way as an iPod and syncs everything (music, diary and contacts) through iTunes without needing mobileme.

I've just got [http://www.macally.com/en/product/ArticleShow.asp?ArticleID=320 this]] case, which folds to make a stand at two different angles. The iPad clips into it, so it's only a fraction bigger than the iPad and it fits nicely into my bag, but it also has a flap to cover the screen and protect it, which is good because I've never been able to get a screen protector on my iPhone without bubbles - I haven't even tried on the iPad. I've had it almost 5 months and it has one hairline scratch which you can only see in very bright sunlight and when it's turned off.

I didn't use mobile me much when I had the free trial, everything syncs through iTunes, but it is a way to get documents/ photos etc onto a second computer if you need to. Don't think it's worth paying for though because you can use drop box or just email.

My favourite apps- Weather Pro, Amazon's Kindle app, Labgency's ToDo Map and Sound Notes - record a meeting as you type notes and when you touch a word the playback jumps to what was being recorded when you typed that word - very useful - though it works better in smaller meetings rather than a big conference.

Otherwise I have lots of free books from Project Gutenberg on iBooks and a lot of word and puzzle games.

I love the kindle app- yes, it's a book reading app. It's not as pretty as iBooks but what I reallly like is that I have the app on my iPhone and the pc version on my laptop and they all sync automatically so that if I start a book on the iPad and then open it on the iPhone, say when I'm on the train, it will ask whether I want to jump to the page I'd reached on the iPad.

You can often find books on Amazon that iBooks doesn't have - for example I've got the latest Terry Pratcett on Kindle, which ibooks didn't have, and Amazon is often, though not always cheaper, so it's worth checking both. Also, if you are prepared to wait for the latest books they will often come down in price - like waiting for the paperback edition with 'real' books.

The free books are easier to find on iBooks and they look nicer (I just love the way the pages turn on iBooks!) so I usually get them from there. iBooks itself is free to download anyway.

I also have some books that I got as apps via the app store on my first iPhone, before ibooks came out, they all just synched automatically onto my iPad; they appear as individual apps, rather than in a library like Kindle or iBooks, though once iOS4.2 comes out for the iPad next month, I will be able to put them all in one folder, like I've done on the iPhone.
