Dinosaur needs help with Laptop & Printers!

Could someone please point me in the right direction and suggest a few printers (budget £60'ish) to be used with daughter just started university's Dell Inspiron laptop.

Her room is tiny and all sockets used up with plenty of cables already, so was thinking of something wireless, but that's the extent of my knowledge!

Would need reasonably printed replacement ink cartridges too. Other than that, I really don't know where to start - there seems far too much choice/brands/tech spec etc!

To be honest does she really need a printer?

I live an hours drive from my Uni and have only brought mine for emergency use,

Ink is so expensive it will be just another thing to budget for and its actually cheaper to use the Unis printers.

Yes, that was my first question too! She's been using the university copiers for past 3 weeks and they aren't cheap plus the course does require a fair amount of colour printing, hence this route. I thought it might work out more cost-effective over the next few years but, like I said, have no idea where to start in terms of what might be an OK machine.
