Ooh ooh ohh - HTC Desire HD is in the shops!

Oh wow!!!! A now entitled to an upgrade (at the mo have the G1 which i love). Dh got the Sony Ericsson x10 which is ok but i am not totally sold. I was going to go for the HTC desire but was told (by friends) to wait for the HD to come out and it seems to have. ooh!

Hoping we pass a Tmobile shop tomorrow!!! (if not i have to wait til Nov as both our phones and dh's work-related dongle are registered to the same account - it is our joint account but dh's name so i presume i can't do it as it will look like i am being dodgy!)

Anyhow got it yet?

Am a tiny bit green with envy - having seen it runs Android 2.2...

T3 Mag carries some info about Vodafone contracts. FoneHome (a site I only saw this morning) has a few comparisons with other phones, including the X10. I see the HD is also branded as the HTC Ace in the USA, so worth searching for Ace too if hunting for recommended apps.

Finally, it seems the launch date of 13/10 was put back to 22/10 in the UK, at least by Vodafone, so has T-Mobile been able to release them early?

saw on tmobile's site it was out but went into the shop and it isn't actually in yet . they don;t know an actual date.
