why is my btinternet account suddenly plonking all sorts of genuine emails in my spam folder?

they are from regular senders/receivers, most are in my contacts list

has anyone else had this recently?

I've always found btinternet's spam filter generated a few too many false positives for my liking, however,,,

it might be that they are also suffering with a spam blacklist failure where one of the major blacklist providers accidentally added a lot of non-spam ip addresses.
