Does anyone know how to bring it back to life? It's not booting up at all. It doesn't have a cd drive and I've no idea how to go about trying to save it.

Ah, nightmare! Can you google for info - that usually brings up suggestions. Otherwise, your local friendly PC store may be able to take a look.

Bonsoir, Madame said.:) Yes, I think I'm going to have to find my local friendly store- I have tried googling but am seriously confused by the results. I am a saddo as am feeling seriously bereft without my little blue internet friend! Our desktop is in a corner facing the wall and I'm used to watching TV from the sofa multitasking while internetting these days.

Disconnect the battery, and if you do get on, hit the F8 key repeatedly which may start it in safe mode.
