I have copper tape - which of these plants need it?

I've just planted out in pots the following:

Tomatoes
Strawberries
Chives
Nasturtiums
Basil
Lettuces

I'm definitely putting tape around the lettuce boxes, but of the other crops which do slugs/snails most like and which (if any) do they leave?

Thanks

Strawberries are the most vulnerable of your list in my experience. My chives and basil don't get touched, basil ok so far.

They def don't like chives or anything oniony smelling, in fact good to plant chives next to lettuce for this reason.

I expect there will be an expert along in a min, but one more point to share.....I have 9 growbags, one with a pepper in and 8 with tomatoes, all next to each other. The pepper has been decimated but the toms are untouched, so am guessing they are none to keen on toms.

They will eat strawbs - but only when they are ripe ime, so either pick em as soon as they are ready or tape them.

My basil has never been eaten, but then I don't plant much outside, it does much better indoors I find.

Oh yes taffetacat you're right, I forgot to say, I've never seen slug damage on my tomatoes.
