I don't know, but there was a message on our local freecycle, asking for cuttings, so I am going to respond with a yes, and ask them what they are planning to do, then have promised a cutting to another neighbour!

This is rather exciting. I posted a thread the other day about how wisteria is actually a weed, really, for all it pretends to be posh, but it is quite pretty.

Will let you know when I learn something, and if you're in SE London, you're welcome to a cutting, too.

they grow really fast and are easy enough from a cutting but the problem is getting them to flower.

I've had mine for 2 years and it hasn't flowered yet, on Gardeners question time the other day someone was saying it took 7 years for theirs to flower.

Mine has grown beautifully and climbed right up the wall but still no flowers as yet.
Good luck, they are fabulous plants indeed.

I planted one and it took I think about 3 years to flower. I loved it. when I finally move into my next home, I will plant another.

i'm in north london winged shame as i would taken you up on that offer!

i wonder if i should ask the homeowner who has the best one if they'd let me have a cutting
