As the title says really, I've just found some very tiny bright orange eggs on my plum tree. Does anybody know what they are. I don't want to get rid of them if they are ladybird eggs, but not sure if they're some other pest that might attack my fruit.

Could somebody possibly identify them.

Maybe caterpillar eggs.

Thanks flyme that's definitely it. I guess I need to get rid of them then, if they hatch there's so many of them they'll pretty much decimate my tree
