I bought a houseplant recently. The label says "fondieplant", but this seems to be the Dutch name and I can't find anything out about it on Google except this photo - which is the right thing. Does anyone know anything about it?

I don't know what type of plant it is but I think that Fondieplant is the name of the wholesaler.

Yes, I could only find Fondieplant as the name of what I assumed was a nursery, except that on this page Fondieplant looks to be the name of the plant too

Fondie plant isn't in my dutch dictionary, so I suspect it's the nursery or wholesalers name. It could also be that the plant is named after the person who discovered it.

Sorry, I've never seen one of those before so I can't really help...

Think you may mean this plant here

MimieD - that certainly looks like it. Thanks so much!
