I just bought sheds loads of willow & a book - what are my chances of building a wigwam?

I have 4 uprights already in place

I will remove the turf, dig a trench, dig in compost, replace the turf & cut holes in it for the willow

I'm not sure yet what I will tie it with

& I may have some left at the end

what a job & I am supposed to be doing OU work

Sounds great! I was just chatting about this with a professional willow weaver yesterday, and she said then that you need to remember to keep maintaining it as it grows - by either pruning or preferably weaving the new stems in.

If yu've got extra, you could weave a basket!
