Am fascinated as I just caught the end of Gardeners' World and there was a piece about planting snowdrops 'in the green' ... ie, for those like me, not in the know, at this time of the year when flowering rather than as bulbs in the Autumn. I wondered whether the same principle can be applied to Bluebells and found quite a few websites selling bluebells 'in the green'. How do I know who is reputable? I want to plant them around the base of 32 fruit trees so reckon about 500-600 bulbs ... from a website like Thompson & Morgan this would work out at around £160 and from other websites (www.gee-tee.co.uk/ etc) around half of that.
Does anyone have any recommendations please. I'm so excited .... this is a great idea!!
