Squirrels

My husband and I have a Squirrel who lives nearby (who we have named Terrence by the way) and we've managed to train him to come up to our back door for nuts. It seemed like a good idea at the time, however, we have since noticed a lot of Squirrel pooh on the garden table and nuts hidden in the plants - how can we stop him coming up now?

Squirrels are rats with good PR from Beatrix Potter.

You wont think it is so cute when it has nested in your roof and eaten all your wiring.

I'm watching one of these lovely little blighters scoffing the buds on my gorgeous camellia!

Will it survive? and how on earth do I get rid of the b***r??

Cage trap like this to catch it, baited with monkey nuts etc. Then drown or shoot the blighter. Or whack it on the head - but they escape easily of you open the trap, they are houdinis.

Red Squirrel = good.

Grey Squirrel = VERY VERY bad

If its a grey, kill it, pdq. The reason the reds, our native species, has nearly died out, is because the grey ate everything they ate.

There another possibility.

Black Squirrel = SERIOUSLY VERY VERY bad!!

Russian blacks are even more agressive and nasty than greys. In fact Blacks are doing to greys what greys did to reds. They have been known to KILL SMALL DOGS and attack children. They are SERIOUSLY bad news!!
