DS2 got given a Marie Curie Mini Pots of Care pack at nursery in the autumn. Thanks to DH's rather slapdash efforts at tidying up one day soon after that (i.e. throw everything in a cupboard and forget all about it), I have completely forgotten to plant the daffodil bulb. On the website it says to plant it by mid-Nov at the latest if it's to bloom in time for the scheduled paint your pot day or whatever they're calling it, in spring.
It HAS started to sprout on its own wihtout being in soil, but is it worth me actually planting it now, or is it definitely too late?
