pests in my salad leaves all shapes colours and sizes

im really proad of my veggy plaot its done so well i pulled some lovely salad leaves and they were covered i mean covered in pests i no amount of washing would budge them what can i do also black fly all over my broud beans i am very sad this morning

Next time cover them in fleece (type you can get in garden centres)

Nip out tops of broad beans when you see blackfly. (A new stem will grow if it's early in the season and the old one will get beans on while it does.)

BTW - soak salad leaves (in salted water if really bad) and get a salad drier.
