I was kidding about the beans, serious about the plant. It looks like a giant mint plant, it's about 5ft. How can I get rid of it? It's right besides the patio doors, if I nuke it with something will I have rotten roots under the house that will start to smell? I hate gardening.

TIA. Back later.

... er, climb it?

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 23/05/2009 17:35

I can't yet. It's 5ft at the moment. Should I leave it or kill it off with something? It's some sort of weed. The bloody gardens full of them.

It's maybe borage? We had runaway borage infestation a year or so ago, and not a golden goose in sight...

It's good for sprains and sore muscles, though.

Can you strim it?

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 23/05/2009 17:38

I could, it will just grow back though won't it?

5ft? Have you only just noticed it?

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 23/05/2009 20:16

Yes I keep the curtains closed when we're out and we're hardly in the house. There's a large chair in front of the doors aswell so it's only spotable now it's grown. I'm so slack with the housework

I'd advise an axe through it ASAP.
