Bees/wasps setting up camp in my house walls!

Just outside my front door I have noticed a lot of activity either from honey bees or wasps, can't really tell as I am terrified of them all so try to avoid them like the plague - however, I have noticed a few holes either side of my door (about the size of a pea) and the damn things are going in and out of these holes

How do i get rid of them? Do I have to call someone in to fume them out? Can I block the holes or will that attract a lot of angry bees?

I have to do something as no doubt they are ruining my cavities and I look like a mad woman coming in and out of my house trying to dodge them!!

You need to call a pest control person. We had bees in the roof and a wasps nest in the play house, pest control just sprayed some powder and so far no more activity. It cost £45.

Was hoping spending money wouldn't be an answer

We had a wasps taking up residence in the roof part of our porch. Go to a hardware shop and you can buy some powder that put into the hole. If you wait until dark when they are less active, we did our quite late and never saw any of them again. its a bit harsh as i don't like killing things but if you phone the council pest controll we were told it can take weeks for them to come out and then they charge about £35.

Good luck
