I have done some sunflowers from seeds and not sure when I am supppsed to move them outside. Is it safe to do now?

Also do they have to go into the ground or can I put into a pot on the patio?

TIA

Mine are in the greenhouse, having hatched in the house! Looking a bit leggy, but I think it's a bit early to put them out. I was going to hang on for another week, then start hardening them off, unless it gets nice and warm and sunny again. You should pop them out during the day, and back in at night to harden them off for about a week I think.

They can go in pots - but depends on size of pots/how good you are at watering/feeding regularly as to how tall/healthy they will grow! Always better in the garden, but you will still get flowers in pots

Beware slugs like to eat small sunflower seedlings when first planted in the garden!
