What could be eating my tomato/pepper plants in the greenhouse? And what can I do about it?

Have discovered something is nibbling my plants..and I can't find anything other than ants in the greenhouse. Could it be the ants?

Any ideas?

I don't think that ants would be eating them. I have found that snails make their way up the walls of my greenhouse at night and disappear again by morning. Could it be that? It's so frustrating when they bite off the whole top of a lovingly grown seedling!

Putting the pots on a tray of gravel helps as they don't like the texture, but make sure that none of the pots is touching the wall, or they'll just be able to slither across.
