Hi
what area are you in, i know a great gardener who is going to be getting into that side of business of helping people to start there own veg patch. I know he has very good rates.
If your in his area i will let you know his number.
He will be able to start you off and if you need extra help can do that to.

I started one this year. there's an excellent book by caroline foley caled the allotment handbook I used, alongside the vegetable expert. I'd recommend using raised beds with gravel or bark chipping paths round them, as it involves less digging and the gravel helps keep the slugs away from your veg! If you start planning now, you could be up and running in march for planting the seeds! Hope it goes well!
