Should I use tomato plant food on my small strawbs?

A couple of my strawberry plants are producing really quite small but very dark srawberries - and quite bitter - I thought maybe tomato plant food? which I have and nothing else - or should I go out and buy specific strawberry plant food?

I use tomato food on anything that fruits or flowers, including strawberries.

Yes, tomato food good for just about all fruit and veg (and flowers).
