fencing- help me find the right kind

we have a lovely old brick wall in our garden and l'd like to put some fencing to sit above the wall for privacy. All the fencing websites and garden centres l've looked at only seem to sell huge panels- we only need the fencing to be a couple of metres high on posts to sit above the brick wall.

Any suggestions for where to look? Should I get someone to make it for me or will this be too expensive?

thanks.

How about close board fencing, which is much smarter than fence panels?
Look in your Yellow Pages for fencing companies who will make (and fit) it for you, it needn't be hugely expensive. Trellis panels are another option but provide less privacy.
Or you could look at reed or willow fencing

All of our neighbours have the type of fencing you've described. Looks like panels but on high posts so you can still see the wall.
Is it really very difficult to find?

Well, l've looked at loads of brochures and don't see any.......

I liked Trellis from the garden trellis company but the quote I had came ina t £2k which I thought was a tad expensive

This kind of thing (ie close board panels fixedc above the wall)? You can have it fixed to wood or concrete posts put up next to your wall

Any fencing company will make and fit this for you.

yes that's the sort of thing. Will speak with a few local companies then and get some quotes.

thanks everyone.
