Best low maintenance shed for two adult bikes in a small garden

Hi All,

Need some advice please.

I need to buy a shed to store 2 adult bikes. I have a small garden so the biggest i can buy is 4 x 6. My budget is £500.

I have seen a Keter shed in Argos for about £350 and I have also seen a tiger shed for about £400.

I really like the look of wooden sheds but ive heard they need a lot of maintenance so its putting me off. Ive also heard that the keter sheds can bow if you lean anything against the walls.

My main concern is to protect the bikes from rust and I would ideally like it to look nice and be low maintenance. Im not too concerned about security as my garden is very hard to get into.

What would everyone recommend?

I would choose wooden but depends on the type of wooden cladding used. I don't think they're a lot of maintenance. The main thing is to keep an eye on the roof and repair straight away to prevent water leakage. If you're not at all DIY savvy then maybe not the best bet. I have been tempted by plastic sheds before but the reviews put me off, if the shed you're looking at has good reviews and sounds strong enough then go for it, it's personal choice. I like the look of wood, also you can add shelves, hooks etc and paint it a cute colour.
