Would anyone like to help me revamp my greenhouse?

Inspired by a recent look around a showroom, I want to make my greenhouse a lovelier space. It’s only 6 x 6, it’s dark green aluminium with the curved roof sides. The floor is currently horrible stone chippings which can go.
So far I’ve completely emptied it, and washed it.
Im looking for a fabulous potting bench, some new shelving (preferably wood). I only want plants in terracotta pots (I have lots of vintage ones)
What else do I need? Accessory wise I mean.
i wont be keeping plastic pots, seed trays etc and bags of compost in there, altho I’ll need a container for the compost.
Please help!

Well, in mine I’ve got a nice fold up wooden garden chair, rescued and recycled and painted pale blue and a lot of solar fairy lights. If you’re taking up the chippings can you leave a bed that you can plant directly into the ground for summer tomatoes and peppers? Grapevine? Apparently they like being planted in the ground outside and trained and fruited inside. You definitely need a nice set of wooden handled greenhouse tools. And the canvas solar shades in cream look lovely but expensive, and I definitely recommend one of the wax automatic top window openers - they’re genius, cheap and ultra reliable. I have a lot of fantasy greenhouse ideas. 😁

@Halfull thank you… love the idea of a recycled chair, and I hadn’t thought of a vine but will look in to it. I agree wooden handled tools. I have one of my dad’s spades (that I can’t use as it’s rather decrepit). I can see that standing in one corner. I also have quite a few of his and my grand dad’s terracotta pots in all sorts of shapes and sizes which I’ll give a good scrub.
I would love to tile the floor but I think that’s pushing it a bit. Fairy lights are a must.

My neighbour has an area that is just “the ground” and she grows fabulous sweet peas there. Just an idea!

Why can’t you tile the floor if you’d like it? It’s not such a big area so tiles wouldn’t cost so much and it’s a lot easier than you’d think (ask me how I know….). It’s a lovely idea!

I'd lean into the old greenhouse feel. Think chunky wooden potting bench, reclaimed timber shelves, a big galvanised bin for compost, some vintage plant labels, twine on a wall holder, little hand tools on hooks, etc. Could also be a small stool and a lantern or warm battery lights for a cozier look. I'd also suggest playing around with layouts before buying anything in case you aren't sure about the possible fit. There are garden design programs for this that might help. Overall I think it could be gorgeous looking is you lean into that style.

@IAmTheStreets that’s exactly my thoughts atm too. This bench and stool was delivered today. I’ve found a cast iron string holder, and have bought a string of solar metal bees..
Ive also bought a lemon tree to stand in one corner in a lovely old terracotta pot.

Reclaimed shelves is a really good idea. I hadn’t thought of reclaimed but that’s exactly right. Thank you. I just need to find a compost tray that isnt plastic (or £150 for a zinc one).

That bench and stool are a nice combo.Smile

You can get aluminium potting trays. For example
I think you need a solar-powered retro radio.
