What has happened to my early potatoes?

My earlies have caught something and I think it may be blight. The leaves have brown dots and are turning yellow. They haven't flowered yet. Should I dig up the potatoes now or leave them in and hope for the best?

If its blight I think you are supposed to cut the foliage off before the blight spreads to the tubers?

Hope its not blight - wiped out my potatoes and tomatoes last year.

Theres a blight map at the potato council website to tell you where the outbreaks are.

Just cut of and get rid of the foliage. We had this the first year we grew potatoes, and i didn;t know about this technique, so i wasted them as i dug the lot up.

We haven't had the problem again, its just caused by dampness/wet, and is fungal.

You should still get potatoes if you cut the foliage off in time.

Thanks. Do I cut off all the leaves or just the ones that are a bit funny?
