Is it the right time to move tomatoes outside (up North)?

I was wondering if now is a good time to put my tomatoes outside. First time I have grown them, and although weather can't be guaranteed all the longer term forecasts seem to indicate warmer weather. They are good strong plants and some are in flower. Is the impending heat wave a problem? I am in North Yorkshire and temps look like they're going be in the high 20s on the bank holiday.

Are you planting them out or just moving pots outside?

Keep an eye on night time temperatures (or if the temperature drops) and bring them back in (if in pots).

Also, make sure that they have enough water in the heat.

Yes they are already in their final big pots so I could potentially bring them in again if it's cold overnight. Thank you
