My wisteria has flowers coming!!!

I can't tell you how thrilled I am. Its made my year.

I planted it 3 years ago and overcame quite a few obstacles on the way. Namely DH who hates gardening and won't consider doing anything.
I had to put the wires up and go up the ladders to prune it. I hate heights but was determined to look after it.
I know they are notorious for taking ages to flower,or not flower at all.
I cant stop grinning.

Congrats! Mine has also finally succeeded this year - it managed a solitary flower for the first time last year - this year I have at least a dozen 😀

Congratulations! Mine has been in 4 years - got one bloom last year but this year there are loads of flower buds and I have no one to share this excitement with. Husband - said 'oh, good' but clearly didn't have a clue.

I got a man in to put up the wires and may need to get him back to put up some more...and need to buy a longer ladder!

We have one but still too recent to think about flowering but will be watching it with interest next year.

I'm in year 3 of following the correct pruning regime (after 2 years of failing to), I counted and it will have about 300 flowers this year 💪 look at those fat bunny tails! (I know they're too long for rabbits - lambs?)
