In praise of Chinese Fringe Flower

I don’t know if this shrub is well known or not. I inherited it and hadn’t heard of them before.
Anyway, it is so pretty I thought I would post in praise in case anybody is looking for a nice, bright, very low maintenance shrub.

I had one. A harsh winter killed it. Very attractive though, also known as Chinese witch hazel.

I am on the south coast and have a south facing garden so maybe it has an easy time here?

I had one and it died one year. I agree it was so pretty
