4 birds walking around.

Tortoise has woken up and is currently repotting the sunny spots and frowning at the bbq which is blocking his usual best spot

the garden is a bit overgrown following health issues last summer but we quite like it that way and don’t mind ‘weeds’ peeking around intentional planting

Tulips are looking great. I planted loads in big clumps and most of them have come up, they’re giving me so much pleasure every time I look outside.

Japanese maples are all looking wonderful with their new colourful leaves coming out, despite the howling winds over the last couple of days. My cherry bonsai trees have had the last of their petals stripped off though. Everything else is growing like crazy - including the weeds. 😐

One cat is currently out there sunning himself and while I was outside earlier, there was a red kite casually soaring about overhead.

Weeds growing faster than I can get to them.

Our silkie chickens are wandering around. Lots of flowers are out including different tulips, different daffodils, different colour hyacinths, camellia, magnolia, iris etc. 3 garden paths just completed so all finished. We are preparing for more turf on back half of garden. Solar dandelions which will come on later. Bit windy today but otherwise nice.

Just hung the washing out, and worrying it’s going to get blown away !

We just moved here a few weeks ago to the most overgrown and neglected garden I've ever had. Got 2 ton of soil delivered on Friday for my massive beds, safe to say it's still sat on the driveway as no chance I'm getting to it in this awful weather.

Cannot wait til tomorrow to get stuck in.

Rain, snow, rain, sleet, wind, rain, wind, snow .....
I bought some bedding plants yesterday and am currently feeling guilty about exposing them to the harsh weather.

Going to have to try and brave the outside for a while and get them planted out, but not looking forward to it.

Magnolia is magnificent and blossom on cherries, damsons and plum trees- wind is doing the best it can to take it off.
Grass needs cutting

Grass has been cut several times now so getting it lower. A huge bush has just got raspberry pink blooms on. They have just come out over last 2-3 days. Cherry blossom just coming out on 2 trees too. I've actually still got Holly with berries on from winter. I'm surprised the birds did not eat them.
