My garden smells of dog/fox pee

I gave a v small garden. A little bit of it is fake grass which I’m desperate to pull up. It smells of my dog pee or maybe fox pee? Has anyone got any tips on what I could do or replace the fake grass with? I have power washed my garden sooo many times and it’s still stinky

Will follow as not sure. But bio washing liquid might work. Or a product designed for pet smells. I see adverts pop up now and again.

Jeyes fluid on the fake grass - use liberally neat, leave to sit then scrub with a brush and rinse. We used it after we had a poorly dog who never usually pees or poops in the garden and it worked a treat.

You'll need a dry day ideally!

Fake grass is hideous. Replace it with grass!

If you want rid of the grass just put it on Facebook marketplace. People will be happy to come and take it away for you.

Jeyes fluid is toxic for cats, not sure if it affects dogs. Nasty stuff

sorry I haven’t said thanks for this info. I am so excited about the fake grass going. Real grass is just not v happy in this garden as it’s mostly shaded and I had big patches of basically mud. Gravel appealing but surely harder to get dog poo off?

If you wanted to keep the artifical grass, you can get pet friendly versions, it doesn't get hot and drains quicker than traditional artifical grass so doesn't have that pee smell.
For cleaning, try Bugalugs artifical grass cleaner can get it at Pets at home / amazon

Not neat please. Solution in a bucket of water. Brush on with a broom. It will last ages.

Gravel is painful for you and your dog to spend any time on without shoes though - my 30kg mutt struggles to walk on gravel due to arthritic wrists as well.

I wouldn't want to gravel a space that's used for any leisure tbh.

That’s actually a really good point. Also I have a dd who is obsessed with cartwheeling. So patio it is then?!
