Looking for an app to remind me to water!!

I really struggle to keep house plants alive, but I’ve had great success with an orchid that keeps blooming and have just bought a snake plant and a yucca. I want to get some more, but I’m terrible at remembering to water them as they all need different schedules!! Is there an app out there that I can list what I have and it’ll remind me?

You can save repeating reminders on your smart phone eg "Water Yukka" every three weeks.

Do you have an alexa? I have various reminders on mine water plants, flea treat pets etc

Snake plants need very little water.

The trouble is there is no hard and fast rule about when plants need watering as there are too many variables eg how hot has it been, has it recently been repotted, what species it is. I know some people use the saying 'Feed me Friday' to remember to feed pots outside. Could you adapt the idea to 'Water me Wednesday '? The main thing is to regularly check plants need watering rather than watering because it's the right time of the week.

Plants don't know what day of the week it is, and you can't water on a regular schedule because their requirements will change constantly.

Set up a reminder to check your plants to see if they need watering.

Have a peace lily and put it in a prominent place. When it looks sad, you need check each plant for watering! Like an app, except it's a plant.
(Peace lillies flop dramatically when they are thirsty and revive overnight when they have rehydrated)
