What are these flowers please? And do they usually bloom twice a year?

I bought these gorgeous flowers from the garden centre in spring but was delighted to see that they popped up again last month and have been doing fine despite the cold snap!

I can’t remember their name though, can anyone tell me? And do they usually bloom twice a year?

So pretty 😍 they look like Anemone to me

Anemone De Caen. They must be very happy where they are 🥰

Anemone! Thank you!
Yes, they are absolutely gorgeous, so surprised to see them in winter.

OP my anemones flower pretty much all year! I've got loads at the moment in lots of different colours. There was a brief lull late October where they died back but they all started flowering again before Christmas. Really good value for money! (I planted bulbs in my patio pots.) Early spring and late summer I give them a layer of new compost and slow release food.

Yes, Anemone. Can be a bit varied as to when they flower. I've currently got buds on one I planted in a window box last year.

These are Anemone. They seem quite early but maybe not if you live in the West country. They flower from bulbs annually so you'll only see them once a year.
