When to put potted Christmas Tree back in the garden?

I was planning on taking my decorations down and putting my pot grown tree back in the garden today. But the next few nights are due to be down to -4°c and snowing. Am I better waiting until the weekend?

It's been in the house for 2 weeks already. I've not got a greenhouse to transition it to either. It's looked lovely this year - it would be a shame for it to die. I'm hoping to get a few more years out of it!

As soon as possible, but put it somewhere sheltered from strong winds. It will breathe a sigh of relief. Give it a water and damp down the foliage all over too.

Agree, it will be fine. The cold UK climate is perfect for conifers.

I put my Tesco Pine outside a year ago and it's been fine. (I bought a new, bigger Fir this year which is already outside now).
