What could I plant in my patio garden trunks over the winter?

All my geraniums have died off from the frost. What could I plant for colour and interest over the winter - rather than just bare soil? TIA

Winter flowering pansies, violas and polyanthus could all do that for you.

buy same daffodils and tulips when they have finished you can over plant them in the summer. Next winter they will come back

Also cyclamen and small conifers from the supermarket.

Some pretty solar lights just to tide it over until ready for spring planting 😊

You can buy daffodils etc already planted in pots and growing, so put some of them in among the pansies. A mini conifer or two and some trailing ivy would be nice around the edge.

This combination always looks lovey. Small primroses and daff bulbs to come through in spring and you're sorted.
