Hello

Animal Poo ID app can't identify it!

Any thoughts please? I'd say it was only about 5cm.

Scotland

Thanks

Fox.

I think fox as well. My garden is full of it (and foxes).

AntiqueBooks · 29/10/2025 18:08

Thanks. What makes you think fox as opposed to say, domestic cat?

Cause cats like to bury their poo?

If she's anything like me, around 35 years of cleaning litter trays.

And if the smell makes your eyes water despite having over three decades of dealing with the little boxes of evil, that's another clue it's fox.

Yes that’s fox. Sniff it. Will smell a bit heavy fruity.
cats don’t behave like this

Baital · 29/10/2025 18:13

Fox, because of the consistency.

Source of knowledge, a dog that likes to roll.in fox poo.

Fox, smells foul

AntiqueBooks · 29/10/2025 18:32

I've already bagged and binned it, didn't sniff it.

Google is also telling me the pointy end is a sign of a fox.

People on the Wildlife topic are always happy to chat about animal poo! (including me - fox isn't as bad as penguin...)

Brenda34 · 30/10/2025 08:31

I'd love a penguin or 2 in my garden.
