Where to buy seeds and plants, reasonably?

Hi, looking for recommendations for where to buy seeds and plants reasonably,online. have seen thompson and morgan and farmer gracy have free delivery this weekend, but not many offers. everything's gone up in price. any ideas, please? thanks

Depends what you want to buy plant wise, but it's not a great time for seeds right now as they're all still ripening. Wait until December to March. I buy from JustSeed and Premier Seeds Direct, with Nicky's Nursery for more unusual things.

All the big brands like T&M, Chiltern Seeds, Sarah Raven etc. are way more expensive and you get fewer seeds.

Offline but if you like them very cheap or free, check if there are seed swap events near you, usually in January.

Honesty is £1.55 for 80 seeds (1.9p/seed) where T&M is £3.49 for 50 seeds (6.9p/seed). Similar for foxglove, echinacea, rudbeckia etc.

Kings Seeds is usually a bit cheaper than the other big brands.

It’s a bit late to be sowing biennials to flower next year. They need to be sown May/ June time. Next month you could sow hardy annuals to plant out and overwinter. They will flower next year. Bally Robert Gardens are quite inexpensive. Most plants are in 9cm pots but grow and establish well. I would bother with T&M and related companies.

thanks for the link. Postage does add 1.45, but need to make a list of which seeds I need. a lot of gardeners have sow alongs for biennial flowers now, so don't think it's too late :)
