Thought I’d post this here as I’ve been trying to post conventional job ads around and on job boards, and it’s not really yielding any results. Would really appreciate any advice or ideally gardening handymen recommendations (happy to share my mobile/email via PM if helpful).

Job Advert: Gardening Handyman Wanted for Small Residential Garden
We are looking for a reliable and skilled gardening local handyman to help maintain and enhance the flower garden of a two-bedroom house with a small outdoor space. The ideal candidate will have experience in general gardening and landscaping tasks, with an eye for detail and experience of creating and maintaining visually appealing green spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ad hoc gardening tasks as needed (pruning, seasonal planting)
· Structural engineering support, including arranging garden irrigation and setting up lighting (subcontracting and working with other professionals if needed)
· General handyman support, such as carrying bags of soil, moving flowerpots, etc.
· Landscaping and general garden upkeep
· Planting and maintaining flowers and shrubs
· Working flower beds and soil preparation
· Regular removal of garden waste and weeding
Requirements:
· Experience is residential gardening or landscaping
· Local to TW2/Twickenham/broader Richmond area
· Own tools and transport preferred
· Able to buy appropriate garden materials independently with instructions
· Flexible availability; needed twice a month or biweekly, depending on the season, for around 12 months
This is a part-time as needed position, ideal for a local gardener/handyman looking for extra work.
