I am going away for two weeks. And when I come back I have over 20 people coming for a bbq.
He is a fairly sensible person ( he is 21 ). But I feel like if I give him too much information he won’t remember it and he will just panic water. And I won’t have anything left when I get back.

i am going away for the first two weeks in August.

Any ideas of how to make this as simple for him as possible ? I was thinking that things like my lavender has tags on it to say not to water everyday. And my new flamingo tree will have very specific instruction on a tag. Any other ideas ? He really is a gamer so he won’t be outside checking how hot it is that day or when the last day we had water. Anyone done this?

I think that. considering how dry it has been over the last few months, it would be impossible to over-water in the first two weeks of August.

Simple instructions:
Check that there isn't a hosepipe ban.
Water deeply every other day: the occasional drenching is better than a daily dribble.
Don't water in the midday heat (it will only evaporate); preferably not in the evening (it will encourage slugs) so as early as poss in the morning is best.
