Is it too late to plant out my French beans?

I have an allotment (beginner!) and I'm not sure whether I'm too late with my dwarf French bean "seedlings". I had potted them on into individual pots, about 8-10cm square, and planned to plant them out in the allotment when they got bigger.
Then I got very behind and they are still in their little pots and they are all growing beans now! Is it worth planting them out, will they get even bigger and keep on cropping? Or is it too late now they are already producing and it's best to keep them in their small pots?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah it is a bit late in reality, especially if up north. I planted my French beans about 8 weeks ago and they’re still not at full height and producing beans yet so it’s highly unlikely you will get anything now unless you’re in the south/south west?

Yes I'm in London. They already have beans on them (they are dwarves) I was just a bit concerned that moving them out of the pots might make them unhappy and should I just leave them in the pots and take what I can get bean-wise, even if they are a bit cramped?

Oh yes I’d repot them, definitely. But keep them wherever they are for a few days after repotting, to prevent transplant shock.

Definitely not too late, I succession sow French beans all the eay into early July. (Midlands)

They will be fine and if it was me I’d pop a few seeds in alongside them for a bit of succession

Hope not as I haven't planted mine out yet - was waiting to harvest my garlic. They are currently taking over my front porch like demented triffids.

Oh wow thanks everyone! Didn't realise it wasn't too late for seeds even! I'll definitely give that a go 😊

I did mine late in my first year - they’ll be fine.
