Clematis

I have the same problem. I think it's clematis wilt?The same thing happened to a certain extent last year.I cut out the dying leaves and it did have a second flush.Plus thus year I meant to tie up as it grew and I didn't and I think in the humid weather it has been too congested which hasn't helped.
