Soil concern

I have potted my planters and concerned the soils I’ve used is far too wet. I’m not much of a gardener so hopefully someone can advise?
the soil was bought last year and had been outside unopened at the side of the house.
If you look at the lavender, it is drying out - I used another compost for that planter. The black planter and others had the very wet soil and it’s not drying out. Do I need to rescue my plants?
Each pot has stones to aid drainage

Pots are notorious for drying out and needing lots of water. So I think your compost will be fine - a few sunny days will help. And then I wouldn’t water the plants at all till I felt the soil was totally dry.
