🌹House rose pot plant now massive -advice on what to do!!!

This was a gift, it was a small pot rose but has started to grow really big! Too big for a house plant.

Can I put it in the garden? In a pot? Or straight into the soil. Its not a climbimg rose bush.

Any advice please as Im no gardener!

Whilst you’re waiting for advice, it would be a good idea to repot it anyway. It needs much more room. Pretty rose.

Oooh, you have obviously got a green thumb, that looks like a very happy rose. It's quite a big bloom so I don't think it is one of those minature roses you often see as indoor plants. Personally, I'd probably repot it into a decent-sized ceramic pot in a sunny spot in the garden and see how it does. Roses are okay in pots, and it means you can move it about if it seems unhappy with the amount of shade, wind, etc before committing to actually planting it in the ground.

I had a tiny Sainsbury’s type one which I planted in the ground last summer. I’m no expert but it has 3 big blooms now (and our soil is rubbish).
