I'm watching it now..and every garden looks so established and lovely. They have huge trees! Planted in the ground! How on earth do they do it? makes my head hurt.

Yes!

It's a date.

One friend is going on Tues and another on Wed. I whined down the phone to one of them and she said 'Oh! I didn't think you'd want to come. I'd have got you a ticket. Oh well.'

I'm going this year! Feeling slightly middle-aged at the fact that I am soo excited about it

it's actually a birthday present for my mum - but obviously I couldn't let her go on her own

ionce saw a prgoramme in which they said it took 18 months to organise the show, so right now, they are already six months into organising the next one.

Yes stitch that is true, I have a db that works for the RHS and it takes a huge amount of planning.

He has also said it takes weeks of planting for the actual show and the plants you see are about a quarter of the plants they grow in advance to make sure they have plenty that are in total bloom.

I too would love to go but I'm at the wrong end of the country and dd at school
