Plant ID please… can you do a better job than ChatGPT

I have these plants growing in my garden. I usually pull them up as soon as I see them, but thought I’d leave a couple to grow as I’ve never known what they are (risky I know!)
ChatGPT’s best guess was Bladder Campion, but I don’t think it looks anything alike.
I’ll post the pic and see if anyone knows.

My app says red valerian.

I think valerian. I love them! They remind me of my West Country childhood.

The gardening board can usually do better than the apps, but if you want to use one then you’d be better off with a more specialised one such as Flora Incognita or Seek - ChatGPT is a blunt and inaccurate hammer.
(I, and both of the apps I mentioned concur it’s red valerian)

Thank you all! I’ve checked the photos online and it looks as if you’re all spot on.
I will definitely be keeping some of it - though it’s very easy to pull up in place I dont want it!

Instead of an app, I used my eyeballs and my huge brain. 😂
