Hi I’ve grown sunflowers a few times over the years and gave usually planted them out around May ish or earlier depending on weather. I grown them in pots on my windowsill but this year they look very leggy and I was actually thinking of putting them out now but RSPB website says to wait until they are 30cm. These are about 18cm. I put plastic bottles round them so the slugs can’t get to them. To me they look like they are not getting enough light ? Can someone advise me please ? Oh I don’t have a greenhouse
